Unless you are in the fortunate position of living under a rock or somewhere else quiet, away from the news, you will be aware that the cost of everything is going up. 

 

Coupled with the ambitious decisions from on high, it means we are being hit by a doubling of our business rates, an increase in employers’ national insurance contribution and big increases in our supplier costs. 

 

This really going to hurt us. 

 

So, with genuine and heartfelt reluctance, we are going to have to increase our prices. 

 

We understand the impact it is going to have. We are sorry, but we can’t see what other option we have. There was a brief conversation about selling our organs, but that was poo pooed pretty quickly because they wouldn’t be worth much in their current condition! So, quite frankly, it would be more hassle than it’s worth.

 

From Monday 19thst May 2025, we will increase the price of some barbering services, as follows:

 

-              Up to 13 - £15

-              14 to 17 - £20

-              18 plus - Caitlyn £25 - Ash £27 - Thomas £35

-              Full Beard and Head Shaves - £30

-              Full Shaves - £50

 

Also, from Monday 19thst May 2025, we will introduce a much stricter cancelation policy. 

 

We have noticed we are getting more late notice cancellations and no shows than we have ever seen before. As you can imagine, this is somewhat frustrating when we send reminders and work to bookings rather than walk-ins. 

 

As an indication of how much this is affecting us, from January 1st to April 30th there were 84 late cancellations and 74 no shows. We are aware that life and other obstacles get in the way. You know us well enough to know that we are many things, but unreasonable people we are not. Unless you want a large extra hot vanilla chia soya oat dry flat white!

 

The new cancellation policy includes a charge of 50% of the appointment fee for appointments cancelled on the day and a charge of 100% of the appointment fee for no-shows, with repeat offenders having to pay for their appointments on booking.

 

There is no way we can sugar coat it; we must make these changes because our hand is being forced.
